New Zealand Fishing
#3
Hi Steve
thanks for your reply
the answer is yes to both although we dont work the puka to hard, as you can see from my website we mainly chase the kingfish and terikihi at White Island.
I am very keen on chasing some Broadbill this year. I saw a number of them on the surface last summer and have been shown a couple of spots by a commercial longliner. Last year I only managed one drift and got a number of Rays bream, this year will be different and you can obviously cover a lot more ground by trolling.
The problem is for us to find the time to do it ourselves first or find some charters who are prepared to take the risk.
Your obviously a kiwi?
regards
Phil
