The water level continues to drop and the algae is starting to bloom. Trout fishing is fair with most of the fish being caught in early morning and late evening. Close to the dam is still the best bet with some large browns and rainbows showing up. Most are being caught trolling worms behind flashers. Shore fisherman are still having fair to good luck using rainbow or green powerbait or worms. Shore fishermen have been catching fish between the dam and the boat ramp or over by the spillway. Use plastic gear or crank baits and fish the rocky shores and points for bass. A 14-pound catfish was caught earlier this week.
