actually PBH...the DWR would love to have a hatchery or some way to get some more chubs into Starvation. Utah chubs ARE the forage base there and the walleyes and smallmouths have totally decimated that base. I remember a few years back I heard that the DWR was actually considering setting up a temporary hatchery to raise chubs just for Starvation.(Don't know if it was actually true) From what I heard, the cost just proved to be too much.

Also, lets not forget that the Utah chub is one of the only native fish to Utah. That's another reason it is so prevalent in our waters.
