ya gotta be carfull when ya pick up one of these project boats.
if they are not fixable the cost of hauling and depositing them in the dump can be quite expencive. as much as 500 bucks at the dump. it is cheeper to rent a big dumpster cut up the boat drop it in and while your at it get rid of all them other items of junk you have collected and couldnt live with out for all them years that havent seen the light of day in 20 years....
I found a 20 boat and trailer and 15 horse motor for $500.oo yesterday, the problem is that the hull is wood. the motor and trailor may be worth the $500 but getting rid of the boat could pose as a problem. the paint may be of a lead base and costly to dispose of. the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is imposing all types of ristrictions these days on how and were you may dispose of contaminated materials.
