FRANKFORT, Ky. - Two totally different styles of fishing are featured on two popular Kentucky lakes this weekend, May 15 and 16.
While archery season may not open until September for hunters, bowfishing is just beginning. On Nolin River Lake, Host Tim Farmer aims for gar. There is no limit on rough fish, but that doesn't make it any easier. Due to the refraction of the water to the eye, bowfishing can be tricky.
A little farther west, we meet Dave Stewart. The Lake Barkley guide reviews the basics for successful bass fishing. The pro goes over baits, lures, equipment and presentation techniques that are proven to attract the largemouth to the business end of a rod.
