Still plenty of fish in Utah Lake. If they are smaller, that means MORE need to be taken out. But I'm not seeing it. Plenty of 9" plus Sunnies just itchin to be caught.
About .2% of the lake has been fished out. The spots everyone and their dogs have fished are done for this year.
Get away from the crowds and find a chunk of structure and the good fishing is still there.
I just barely started the ice fishing thing last week and started catching a bunch of dinner guests right off. (Still some hunts going on) My dogs would never forgive me if we quit Chukar hunting this early.
Expand your horizons. Try new spots. And don't forget that some fish just don't like ice. They migrate to moving water[]
