I too shoot the Montecs 100gr, but I am probably going to switch to the Slick Trick with the cut to the tip blades. I have and will always use a fixed blade head. With a mechanical there is always the what if factor. I know that 99% of the time the mechanicals work just fine but what if........? I can't handle that, so I like a broadhead that will cut as long as I hit my target. The Grim Reaper has good reviews but, what if.....? You have already experienced a what if, do you really want to try that again? My buddy shoots the Strikers and has killed a few elk, they work just fine.
