I have recently changed bows, and my new one (PSE AXE6) shoots about 320 fps. My Montecs don't fly as well at that speed. They flew great out of my old set up, wich was about 280fps. My buddy bought some of those slick tricks and I tried them out, they flew great, held tight groups out at 60 yards, and I was impressed with their durrability also. I used the wrong pin and shot his broadhead into the 4x4 post under my target. OOPS! After we cut the broadhead out of the wood it was in perfect condition, myabe a little dull, but I have pulled several other broadheads out of that same piece of wood and almost all of them bend when they hit the dry solid wood. A live tree is different though.
So that is what I based my decision on. The montecs worked ok, but they just are not as acurate at higher speeds.
