I would not try to steer you away from the strikers either (my dad shoots them) but for whatever crazy reason the montecs (G5 is the brand of both these broadheads) shot exactly like my field points. The strikers shot decent, but not quite as consistent for me. And, the strikers you can replace the blades, but I just personally don't feel as comfortable shooting a tip that had been shot or dulled, even with new blades (I know I am crazy) so I would probably just buy new if I shot the strikers anyways.
