light line vs. heavy line
#37
yea i was a little light on my lines for here , the norm for fishing thes fish ( set by the die hards ) is a 6lb. line a 8 lb. leader line and a two pound sinker or weight line . it's the skill that these guys enjoy and take pride in , the rod itself takes most of the shock that the fish gives out . i was using my steelhead rod for these buggers , but tomorow the bft rod gets it's break in chance . thoes fish aint gonna know what to think !

you would be amaised at what kind of fish that thoes steelhead rods can bring in ! they even use them for big old carp over in england !
