Will be heading to the sevier river and mammoth creek in the middle of june. What are some good flies to use?
Mammoth and Sevier mid-June? You might want to think about stopping somewhere and picking up a dozen nightcrawlers -- head to a railroad and pick up a few railspikes (to use as sinkers), and see what you can do.
My fear is that the current snowpack on Cedar Mountain is sitting at 181% of normal snow-water, and 152% of normal snowpack. Runoff is just getting started (hell, we added 8 inches of new snow on Monday!), and with well above average snowpack, it's going to take a while.
Mid-June might be OK -- but I'd plan on seeing bank-full streams and off-color water. That should make flyfishing a bit more difficult. You might want to have a backup plan.
