Fred, my friend, there are no words that could ever erase the pain you are feeling at this time. Let me just assure you that you have my heartfelt sympathies across the miles.

As a dog lover, myself, I have long treasured something I found on the web one day. It kind of expresses how we really feel about those special pets...the ones that are more family than animal. I have attached it at the bottom.
