We were fishing with nightcrawlers with a herring attractant. Quite amazing to hook huge fish on a couple crawlers. Thomson Outfitters uses dead rainbow trout that they purchase from the trout farms in Idaho. You must fish on the bottom, because with their suction type mouth that is where they feed. I have caught them on one fishing trip, so I will leave it to Lundman, the expert, to correct any misstatements, if any, that I have made.
