if there is one thing actors know, it is politics. their entire corear has been one big political game.
you would be surpized how much politics is involved in every one's every day life. from filling out an application to keeping your job and getting raises when it comes time for reviews to who you sit with at lunch to those who you hunt and fish with.
you would be amazed how much you have in common politicly with people even though you do not talk politics.
the acting game is one giant political network.
I dont think that knowing politics makes you the right person to lead, more so I believe that it is bing in touch with what is going on in the world. what is important to those who vote you in to office. not over looking the rights of any politicly or racialy motivated citizens you are chosen to represent.
as a candidate you need to know where the hard lines lay, any you have to be able to convey that information with evidence to back it up. Mr Davis certainly has not done his job properly. if there need to be closures then you need to restrict floating fish factories form fishing in the boarders and if you cant do it with laws then you certainly can reduce it by taxing it, making it less profitable to do it.
there are certainly a lot of things that could have been done that he hasnt even given thought to.
the next time you go to the grocery store pick up a few boxes of fish sticks and read the ingredients, it dosnt say cod any more it says minced fish parts. which means it could be any thing. the U.S. lifted a restriction that stated that fish packages had to lable fish contents. check it out some time you may be suprised as to what you find. at any rate you cant get 2 boxes of fish sticks to taist the same, and I swear that I get sticks in the same box that dont taist the same.
that's all politics, some one was paid off in order to get that to pass.[mad] which leads to another issue that there seems to be a major shortage these days and that is integrity. an ounce of that stuff will take you a long way.
shat surprises me the most is with todays advances in comunication we still only have just a teeny tiney vew of our people who are running today. immagion this, there are still people who go vote for the people who they think will win because the want to say they voted for the winner. Bouy I'll tell ya that sure gets my goat, and my donkey too[shocked] personaly I would rather hear that some one voted on a gut feeling than who they think is going to win. but more I would like to see a profile on each candidate available on the net by written by all three sides of the political coin. pros and cons.
immagin the kind of traffic that would generate. to be able to go to one place were you could find out your candidates entire political coreer. what bills the voted to pass what bills they voted not to pass.
Immagin being able to go to your candidate's page and hit a link to see were thay have stood in the past on issues like hunting, fishing, firearm ownership, the environment, social reform, civil rights, a compleate and full bio of their political coreer. and give it a simple name like today's candates.
ya talk about being able to generate jobs you could put a bunch of investagative reporters to work. all the information I mentioned above is public knolage.
some body could make themselves a cool mint polititons would be linning up to pay to get the dirt (lodown) on their aposing aponents. polititons would be lined up to show off their good sides. all some would have to do is verify the information before publishing...[]
