[cool][#0000ff]Too much MUD in the "mud bugs"?[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have never eaten crawdads from that area so I can't argue one way or the other. But as a rule I prefer to get mine from a cleaner and more rocky environment. Those dads you got might have been living in a stagnant muddy environment. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Also possible you had a couple go "downhill" after you brought them home and before you cooked them.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have been preparing and eating all kinds of fish and seafood for many years and I have a sensitive nose for "off" odors. I might not have even tried to cook and eat them if they were "wrong".[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Good luck. [/#0000ff]
