Elk/Wolf Help

We called them in from well over 1000 yards once. I'd say it was about 3/4 of a mile?????? We had them within 300 yards, but never saw one. Once you find them, calling them in seems to be pretty easy from what we've found. Getting them to come out where they can be seen is a different story, though. Out of 8 times calling them in, we've only seen them 2 times.
