Checked out Lost Dog at FG yesterday (12/27). Ice was about 8" thick and solid, clear with patches of snow. There were ice rifts blocking access from some of the shoreline, but at the extreme end of the point the lake access was excellent. Open water was visible about a mile downlake below the confluence, but at Lost Dog itself the ice was good. Fishing for small macs was fair in about 60' of water.
