Not being equipped to go ice fishing, I was beyond excited when I pulled up to Grantsville Reservoir on Saturday and saw that the entire reservoir was open water! My son and I were going to hike around the res for some good exercise (which we did) and then jetted home for my fishing gear! I didn't catch anything (though I saw several people who HAD) but it was great to be outdoors casting my line in the water. Not sure how long that open water stuff will last, but it makes me ache this morning that I am stuck at work when there is the chance to go fishing just hanging out there!
