Well Dennis the boat I was looking at I didn't buy, there were lots of reasons. The most important was the Mrs., she said no boat until I bought her a car. I did that about 2 weeks ago, and I am nw in the hunt once again.
I found a 1979 Wellcraft Sunhatch 196 for sale. I am a little short on funds right now to buy it, but they are holding it for me until I get the addtional monies. Wont be long as ir is only a few hundred dollars. Since it is fiber glass rotting should not be a problem. My main concern is the outdrive. I'm not certain but I think it has the OMC, so I will be checking it out closely before forking over any of my hard earned cash. Other than that it is a sweet little boat. I would have preferred an outboard, but I can live with a 350 chevy. Latter this month I will have the rest of the money and I was planning to take it for a test drive. Jordonell still has plenty of water in it. But thanks for the advice there's a few things there I didn't even begin to think of. Oh yeah the Mrs said go an buy your damn boat, I'm tired of your friends bugging me about it LOL.
