[#ff0000]I'm a little disappointed at some of the posts on this thread; however, I respect the viewpoints of others. Like I mentioned before I live next door to a Fish and Game (key words, Fish and Game) officer and am aware of their dedication and headaches also. Would you like to go down to the next blind and take the guns and vehicles away from a bunch of yahoos with loaded weapons flagrantly breaking the law all ready? You seem a little defensive even being legal; imagine how a more twisted mind with a firearm might feel caught in the act. You bet they work in teams. You bet they work under cover. They have my full respect and support. Sometimes when you get checked it may feel like a breech to your integrity or an inconvenience but I find it interesting that you only had a problem talking to them when you found out they were officers. Ask yourself "Why did that feel threatening and uncomfortable to me?" instead of shaking their hand and saying "Good job, thanks for checking." They are most certainly sportsmen themselves; I'm not sure what difference their friendly approach should make. [/#ff0000]
