So when do the Wiper dance the lambada? It's a bit later, warmer isn't it?

I caught one on a crawdad crank. Kitties liked it too. I've heard early spring from shore - the marabou jigs, white/chartreuse dragged toward shore turn 'em on. Later you're following shad, and hoping they MIGHT try your lure, instead of yawning for another mouthful of the real thing.
Didn't get onto any boils last year, but sure would like to pitch some spooks into a mess of em! That'll be a while yet.
