I've changed the hooks on several of my casting plugs and jigs because of the size of the GT, amberjackand tuna I hook up with. I use a stainless steel (made from one single wire) double hook. I don't know who makes em' but there's all sizes available here in Hawaii. The part that I really like is that you don't need to put a split ring or any other attaching device between the lure and the hook. That keeps the hook closer to the lure. Most of the plugs and jigs you buy have the hook attached right to the rings of the lure. Just cut off the old hook and slide on the double. The bigger double hook size will be about the same weight as the original trebble.<br><br>Capt. Jeff<br><br>
