I just got tired of taking pictures of every fish I caught. It was fun for a little while but it got old. If it's a good one, grab a pic. Putting on the board, grabbing the camera, controlling the boat, taking pics, enough of all that. Take the hook out, cast out again.
I've got too many options on where to fish and what to fish for that I lost interest in the competition. And I have a career that keeps me busy also. The smallies are turning on here and I've got about 300 miles of shoreline to cover between my favorite lakes this summer. Last weekend was a blast for some good, deep water smallies. I had to fish for them, not pull them out of a pond.
