#4

Southern California Saltwater

Report for October 20, 2003 (Monday)

SAN DIEGO WIDE OPEN ON LOTS OF SPECIES LOCALLY(YELLOWS, YELLOWFIN, SKIPJACK, ETC). BEST ITS BEEN ALL YEAR AND BETTER THAN I'VE SEEN IT IN THE LA LOCAL AREA THIS YEAR!!!!

Way Up North- Avila and Monterey
Rockfish.

Up North- Channel Islands
Rockfish, Whitefish and various other species.

LA Area- Catalina Island
Water is clearing and warming to a certian degree with sculpin, bass and bonito doing pretty good.

Further South- San Clemente
I don't have much info. Sorry.

San Diego- Local and Offshore
Excellent fishing for yellows, yellowfin and skipjack locally with the offshore guys doing about the same. The last few days is the best it's been in SD and better than any local LA days!!!!
