#6

Southern California Saltwater

Report for October 22, 2003 (Wednesday)

Yellowtail bite slowing.

Way Up North- Avila and Monterey
Rockfish

Up North- Channel Islands
Rockfish and mixed bag of other various species.

LA Area- Catalina Island
Not many burning the fuel to fish calicos and bonito.

Further South- San Clemente
Week-end trip go for sure.

San Diego- Local and Offshore
Although the local yellowtail bite has slowed, certian landings still do well (seaforth). Offshore still offers a decent bite on the multi-day trips for Yellows-Yellowfin-Skipjack.
