Southern California Saltwater Report 10/23-29
#2

Southern California Saltwater

Report for October 24, 2003 (Friday)

Yellowtail still good on the San Diego local scene.

Way Up North- Avila and Monterey
Rockfish.

Up North- Channel Islands
Rockfish and various species make for a mixed bag

LA Area- Catalina Island
Bonito pretty good with other species starting to pick up.

Further South- San Clemente
No idea.

San Diego_ Local and Offshore
Lots of yellowtail on the local boats with good bites on the offshore scene too.

LA Local
Bass, Barracuda, and Bonito seem to be the staple except for the South Coast landings which are gettin good catches of yellows. (i.e. Newport, Davey's, and Dana Wharf landings)
