this was the kind of stuff i was eluding too in my reply on the first page. even if your william tell and stack your arrows on top of each other, it is at a stationary target. animals aren't stationary or predictable. as well elk hide , rib bones and viscera are much tougher than styrofoam or paper plates. i also am not thrilled with the 700-1000 yard rifle shots for the same reasons.
