The night I caught the Pacu had a choice to use a reg off set hook or wide gap
Went with the reg off set and caught the pacu,so I'm sticking with this type of hook even for bass fishing
30+ lb Pacu..heres a picture of what the hook looked like after the fight with the pacu check it out all bent up last pic in this post [
