Braided Line Fraying

Hmm, I've experience the same, but "just keep casting". Though I could see how a bait-caster might not cause as much drag, where it's got more of an inline guide, but there's still the rod's eyelets.
Have just figured I'd nip the top 5ft every now and then, to freshen the tip.

But I'm looking at spooling up a new rod with heavy braid (for that next C&R super cat!). But I wonder is the spincast reel is the right tool for the job. I just suck at casting with bait-casters. More practice I guess.
