Idahopanfish has given you some very sound advice and he knows his stuff. In addition I might add a couple of my favorite methods such as pitching perch and crawdad imitation ShadRaps to the rocky shore lines and working jigs along the shore and also out on the 10-14 foot deep flats. Trolling with wedding rings tipped with crawlers on bottom bouncers at about .9 to 1.2 mph works well for those fish on the flats as well.
