These Scofield trips have been too much fun... and today was the best day yet.
My father and I caught 54 between 8AM and 1PM -- five were just under the slot at 21".
The morning was a bit cold:

But the sun came out, the wind died, and it was very comfortable for a few hours.

Then we hit a Doubles Jackpot with twin 25" Cutts! That was memorable.... having two that size on simultaneously. They will be joining us for a family Trout BBQ tomorrow

The water started turning in earnest today with a lot of the bottom vegetation ending up on the top of the water particularly as the wind started to blow in the late morning.
The Cutts were all bulging with little fish -- mostly chubs. The larger fish are VERY healthy and feasting.
