The link above will take you to a DWR website article on it. There are still places in Utah where there remain a decent population of wild birds. But it is getting tougher to find them...or to get access to the land.
Always enjoyable to hunt behind a good dog. They can find birds where there ain't any. And watching a well trained dog is a joy indeed. Only problem with most dogs is that they can't always get their hunters to hit the birds. That look they give you after a miss is demoralizing.
