Just something to think about Curt being inflated like that on your chest might make it difficult as they want to float you face up. i scuba dive and my buoyancy compensator is back inflated and when your on the surface it wants to keep you face planted in the water its over come able but if a person was in a panic state it could complicate things. If your inflatable works the same way and wants to keep you on your back face floating up could make sliding onto the ice difficult
