Jeff, you probably just need to be more creative, and maybe a little sneaky? Will they eat other seafoods? Shrimp, clams, crab? Can easy add fillet chunks to a soup or stew, or a tossed pasta and veggies? Secret;s in the sauce, smothered in'mater sauce, or cream sauce, they might not know or realize.
Those crappie and bass are pretty mild flavored.
Do you fry fish?
Personally, I think someone who says -blanket - don't like fish - hasn't had the right fish served the right way. OR more likely has had the wrong fish served badly.
So Pat, ever thought of scanning that thar book into a PDF? Or would that be a copyright infraction?
I've enyoyed trying out some of you other recipes, sort of. I tend to use recipes as an idea generator. More into re-creating than reproducing. Though one thing I learned from my herb garden is - sometimes simpler is better. I made the XXX rule. Only three herbs per dish, rather than 'some of each'!
