[#0000FF]Fish operate on their own schedules, for their own reasons. Kinda like the females of our species. I gave up trying to figure either of them out a long time ago.
I have had the fishing early go both ways. Some days there is a good bite early and it shuts off by about 9 or 10. Other days I don't get a bite for the first two hours and then it gets good for the next couple of hours. Some of that is dependent upon water temps. Some can be a matter of bait movements. Other times it is strictly a matter of moving around to find active fish.
Rules to live by:
1. The best time to go fishing is whenever you can.
2. You can't catch 'em where they ain't.
3. Finding fish is no guarantee you can catch 'em.
4. No matter how good or bad the fishing is for you there is someone else on the lake that is doing better...or worse.
5. Fishing trips are like "other things". If you miss out on one you are one behind for the rest of your life. Ain't no catchin' up.
