I'm sorry to hear you have such a low opinion of us Utahans. I have family in Boise and have enjoyed their hospitality and fishing tips on more than one occasion. If you do happen to be in Utah (specifically near Utah Valley) I would be more than happy to help put you on some fish. While I choose to practice catch and release, you can do according to the dictates of your own conscious. You are more than welcome to take some fish home to your kitchen to share with your family.
I have been somewhat of a fishing orphan and have learned most of what I know thanks to kind people have taught me through the years, including complete strangers, so I try to do my part to help teach others. Fishing hospitality doesn't cost anything.
I am a firm believer in fishing Karma. Do a good turn for someone and somehow it works out in the end. After all, most of our sport fish came from somewhere else.
Good luck out there and I hope everyone has a happy holiday season.
