You probably didn't realise it, but you just helped prove my point exactly. I can't and won't deny that the Provo River is overpopulated with fish, more flyfisherman should take a few with them. You are also mistaken if you think there are no large fish currently on the Provo, I have hooked into a few myself. Take a look at the Weber River where bait fishing is allowed, I haven't seen very many big boys come out. Take a look at Strawberry, why did they change the regs, because to many fisherman were keeping the larger fish. Those larger fish helped keep those chubs in check. The chub #'s started to get out of control. Now that the regs have changed, voila, larger fish are now more common. I'm not saying keeping is wrong, I'm just saying leave the big boys alone and just take a picture.
