[#0000FF]Intuition. Call it what you will...experience, muscle memory...THE FORCE...whatever. People who become good at what they do often do what they do unthinkingly. And it is sometimes difficult to describe it to others. As I like to say "How do you describe the taste of salt to someone who has never tasted salt...without using the word salty?"
Your story reminds me of the old joke about the guy who was really catching a lot of fish out on the ice while a couple of other guys nearby were blanking. One of the luckless duo trudges over to the guy catching the fish and politely asks "What are you doing that we aren't"...or something like that. The reply was a muffled mumble. So the guy asks the same question again. Again a muffled mumble. After the third time asking the question, the lucky angler spits something into his hand and replies "Keep your worms warm."
