I used to live in Grace and fished Black canyon a lot. I would much rather wait until the end of may, 1st of june to fish it when the water warms some and clears up. It is much better fishing then. When you go during the summer and fish the bottom you can pick up the smallmouth bass, there are a few good ones in there.
