Fudd Friday on UL 4-4-14
#43
Serious points for having "termagant" in your vocabulary, my friend.

The English language has more than 600,000 words, more than any other. We distinguish among various shades of meaning with whole new words. Thus the many shades of implication ascribed to fudd, curmudgeon, geezer, and oldphardt.

I became a Junior Geezer at age 55. Took the training wheels off at 60 and became a full-fledged Geezer. With the badge and sash.

As soon as I perfect my perma-frown, I may apply for Brevet Curmudgeon.
