[#0000FF]I probably shouldn't have even broached the subject of female fudds. Fuddesses? Just ain't right.
Coincidentally, Geezer and I had a conversation about older females...like our wives. We agreed that most of us marry "above ourselves" and that we both have wives who tolerate us, help protect us from ourselves and keep order in our families far beyond our own abilities to do so ourselves.
Sadly, older gals also succumb to the ravages of age. They suffer some of the same declines us older guys do...mentally and physically. But somehow they just "wear it" better than we do. They have to if they live with a fudd/geezer/curmudgeon.
So, rather than assign a derogatory designation for these matriarchs of the family, lets just call them what we already do...Honey, Mom or Gramma.
