Brownlee reports?
#12
Fished yesterday 4/19. Fished with a buddy and his dad. Had a great time, minus the wind. We caught a number of small bass, and a few nice ones on crawdad type crank baits, and yellow crappie jigs.

Caught hundreds of crappie, all but 15 are still swimming .the largest were about 8 inches. Once you find a school, it's non stop. Found them from brownlee creek to sturgil, and they were all suspended over about 20 feet of water at about 6 feet below the surface. They are small, but it was still fun, plus the big bass seemed to be keying in on the schools and so every once in a while you'd get surprised. Caught a few that spit crappie out and talked to a guy who had rescued one on the surface.
