[#0000FF]I would never presume to dispute actual published facts and figures.
I fished it on July 17 this year. The water level was only a few feet higher than it was when I fished it on August 20 last year...and I suspect it has dropped since then. There is a rock ridge coming down into the water by the quarry that I use as a "rain gauge". I have followed the ups and downs of Jordanelle along that ridge for the last few years and have a pretty good feel for where the fish are going to be, based upon current water levels.
On July 17 the tree tops that were a couple of feet out of water in August last year were only about 3 or 4 feet under water in July. And the depths on my sonar showed the depth difference accordingly. I only had to move a few feet closer to shore to find the 12' depths favored by the perch.
[/#0000FF][#0000FF][#000000]"according to the data here the lake was at ~6120 mid August last year and it is off the chart >6140 this year." [/#000000]
The numbers you show only reflect a 20' difference. That is not much at this time of year when water users are sucking out the water. Allowing for differences in guage checking and human evaluations there could be more or less variation. And my personal observations are just that...personal observations.
