It is funny how things people say will get you to think. After reading your reply I started thinking about this problem again. I was planning on disconnecting the switch and hooking the wires back up like it was before and if that did not fix the problem, I was going to look for a fuel issue. Well for some reason, when I read your reply, I started thinking about a totally different thing I noticed when loading the boat and putting stuff away. I remember seeing this red spiral cord laying on the floor but just threw it up under the dash, thinking I would figure it out later. Well after reading your reply, I remembered that red cord and went out to see where it went, turns out it went to a kill switch, that all newer boats have. I could see the cord went to a button that was suppose to be depressed, so I depressed the button, then installed the clip that was on the red cord. I'm sure that was the problem but it was strange that I could still crank the motor but not start it because of that kill switch, you would think a kill switch would not allow the motor to crank but I guess that is the way this boat is set up. Lessen learned.
