Callville and the Narrows 10/1/2014
#3
Sounds right Tom. They were checking me out aggressively....haha. Running from spot to spot. And a lot of them had all the toys rigged plus Power Poles. At the end of the day in Rotary I was catching following behind these 2 guys and I think it was irritating them.

I fished maybe a 20 different spots from Fire Cove up to Gordy's Cove on Nevada and AZ sides...Graphed a fair bit before I even rigged up and started fishing....avoiding the more well know spots and not fishing memories but looking for different depths and different structure and cover. I don't remember Mead ever being this low in the 20 years I have been fishing here.
There are still some deeper submerged weedbeds...hard for me to find cause I haven't been out in 2 months but the ones I did get into graphed full of baitfish and it is also where I got my two heaviest bites. One broke my dropshot off (line fray) and a couple I never saw.

I don't think the tournament is that big it would bother you cause you know the lake well.
