I second what Raab says, I have the showdown and it has always been perfect for me on the ice. Maybe thats because Ive never seen the 5.6 in action, but I have absolutely loved the showdown. I tracked a meal worm all the way to the bottom of 80' of water at East Canyon one year. Couldnt believe it. But it is an absolute game changer when it comes to fishing. Either way you'll do fine.
