There was probably more bluegill in UL than 10 mantuas put together, at least in the past decades consistently. These few years, the phrag control has destroyed prime gill habitat. Tons of medium to small crappie in the past and likely plenty there still. White bass are at a low end of cycle but steady and healthy fat ones. Lmb are suffering from phrag control as well. Lmb used to be abundant to super abundant with seemingly none under 16 inches in certain areas but have declined due to loss of phrag habitat in many areas of the lake. Still plenty numbers though. Walleye are endless in number it seems Even after the big 2005 starvation kill, numbers were fat and high again within a year. The white bass seemed to take longer to recover than the eyes. I would be really happy if they quit trying to "restore" the lake. It's ruining what is already perfect. lol
