need some helpful info...trying something new

You know Kevin, the bigger issue beside what hook to use is what you are going to do if you hook into something really big. I've seen anglers catch fish so big there was no chance of them bringing them up to the top. Last time I was there there was a guy with some sort of basket lift, that after the fish got worn out from fighting, he was able to get the fish in the basket and bring it up to the top. If I remember correctly it was a 50 or 60 lb fish. If you get that lucky, maybe someone will be there that has one of those baskets for retrieving a fish that big. Good luck though, sounds like it will be fun, no matter what you catch.
