True enough the rods would sink with the craft, but they would be WITH the craft, not floating separately around.
OR, with my life jacket on, I grab the T with the rods attached and swim while pulling them to shore. However the T is on my flat boat which is a single bladder and I suspect like a piece of paper will float okay for awhile.
Now the 14lb boat I do secure a leash to each rod and only pack two. I do limit the money I take out to the crafts capability.
With $2400+ worth of gear, I would find a diver.[
