If you want something less than $150. The piranha max is good. Otherwise plan on 200-300 for a decent one. The humminbird 500 series is a great FF (may be 700 series now with the upgrades). Sounds like you know what you are doing with the mods. Also don't forget to register the boat since you put a motor on it.
